Capalona is proud to sponsor the Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith Dark Run for the third consecutive year, supporting an important local charity that provides vital care to children and families.
This year, Capalona is the Goody Bag Sponsor for Chirk Dark Run and a Gold Supporting Partner for Penrhyn Dark Run, with both events taking place on Saturday 17 October 2026.
The Dark Run events invite people of all ages to enjoy a fun, family-friendly evening run through some of the region’s best-known locations. Participants can choose from different distances, enjoy the atmosphere and raise funds for Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith, which provide specialist care and support for seriously ill children and their families across the region.
Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith also have a personal connection with Jamie Moorcroft, Director and Co-Founder of Sorodo Limited, the company behind Capalona, making the opportunity to support the charity particularly meaningful.

Dark Run 2026: Events and Dates
There are four Dark Run events taking place across two weekends in October:
- Penrhyn Castle - Saturday 17 October 2026, 6pm. Choose from a 1.5k or 3k run.
- Chirk Castle - Saturday 17 October 2026, 6pm. Choose from a 2k or 4k run.
- Bolesworth Castle - Saturday 24 October 2026, 6pm. Choose from a 2.5k or 5k run.
- Telford Town Park - Saturday 24 October 2026, 6pm. Choose from a 2.5k or 5k run.
