Consumer Duty

Last updated July 2023.

What is Consumer Duty?

Consumer Duty is a standard introduced by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK to improve consumer protection for financial-services firms in the UK. The Consumer Duty requires us to put customers' needs first and deliver good outcomes across the entire customer journey.

Under the new Consumer Duty rules, Capalona will:

  • Always put good consumer outcomes at the centre of our business
  • Focus on the needs of our customers at every stage
